Imagination in Motion: Behind the Scenes with Fetch Theatre

You’ll be in awe of amazing giant puppets of Fetch Theatre flying around the wonderful independent shops of Leominster during Independents Day. To find out more about the creative inspiration and talent behind the scenes, meet Fetch Theatre’s Artistic Director Andrew Purvin at the Old Stable Gallery, 1pm. From there we will take a short walk to the Theatre’s studio at Leominster Railway Station for a demonstration of puppetry skills, a talk about the Fetch, followed by an informal Q&A session with one of the country’s most experienced, internationally renowned puppeteers, based here in Leominster.
This free event celebrates the power of creativity to bring people together, spark imagination and strengthen our sense of place – values at the heart of creative health.

Water is Wide Song Performance – Old Stable Gallery

Join us for a special afternoon performance as the song writing group from one of our Our Place projects, Water is Wide, will share the original songs developed through their recent workshops. Over the past months, participants have explored memory, place, connection and wellbeing through music, working collaboratively to create new material rooted in their own experiences.
This informal, free performance is an opportunity to celebrate that creative journey and experience the impact of the project first-hand. It promises to be a relaxed and uplifting event, showcasing the creativity and community spirit that have grown through the programme.
